about.

I’m Anirudh. This is where I write things down.

I’m an interdisciplinary generalist — the polite term for someone who can’t stick to one field. My current obsessions are machine learning interpretability, information theory, and the philosophy of mind. My older obsessions include Borges, computability, and the question of why Bach sounds like mathematics sounds like Escher.

I write slowly. Most things here go through four or five drafts before they’re published, and most of those drafts stay drafts forever. The ones that make it are marked evergreen in the notes; the ones I’m still working on are seedling.

what’s here

  • essays — long-form pieces I’ve finished (or nearly so)
  • notes — a digital garden of half-formed ideas, linked together
  • watching · playing · reading — logs of what i’m consuming, with one-sentence takes
  • rigs — a benchmarks archive. i don’t review hardware personally — i aggregate from reviewers i trust (gamers nexus, hardware unboxed, techpowerup, dave2d). every number has a source link. i built this because i wanted a place to cross-reference parts without trusting a single reviewer’s bias.

how to reach me

If you spot an error, have a counter-example, or just want to argue — email is best. I don’t have comments and I don’t plan to.
